Publish your website
Publishing takes your site out of the preview and puts it on the internet, at a free elentir.app address. One button does it.
Publish it
Section titled “Publish it”-
In your studio, find the Publish button in the top bar. Coming from your workspace home instead? The website card shows an Unpublished pill with a Publish now button; click it and Elentir opens the studio with this panel already open.
-
Click it to open the Publish Workspace panel.

-
Choose your address under Subdomain. Click Edit, type the name you want, and it becomes
yourname.elentir.app. As you type, we check it’s free. -
Click Publish.
Your site builds, then goes live. When it’s ready you’ll see a green Live card with Copy URL and Visit site, and the button in the top bar turns into your live address with a green dot.
What publishing actually does
Section titled “What publishing actually does”Your team builds the site inside your workspace, then puts the finished result on the internet as a real, fast website served over https. Two things follow from that, and both are good news:
- Your site keeps running when your workspace sleeps. The studio nods off after a while of not being used. Your published site does not. It stays up.
- Your site already has a backend. Every workspace comes with its own database, file storage, and sign-in, waiting in the Cloud tab. You do not have to add or buy one. When your team builds a contact form, that is where the messages land.
If it didn’t work
Section titled “If it didn’t work”- “Subdomain is not available.” Someone already has that name, or it’s reserved. Pick another, we suggest a few under “Try instead.” Names must be at least 7 characters, lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
- “Publish failed.” The build didn’t finish. Your previous version (if you had one) stays up and untouched. Open the Build log to see what happened, fix it, and publish again.
- Publish is greyed out. It’s disabled while your team is still working, “Publishing is disabled while the agent is working.” Wait for Kai to finish, then publish.
