Build your first website
This is the whole journey, from one sentence to a website you can share: describe your idea, plan it with your co-founder Noor, watch your builder Kai put it together, preview it, and publish.
1. Start with your idea
Section titled “1. Start with your idea”When you sign up you land on “What should we build?”, the new-project screen. You start every future project from here too. There are two ways in:
- Describe it from scratch. Type your idea into “Describe what you want to build…” in plain words.
- Start from a template. Under “Start from a template”, filter by industry (Food, Beauty, Real Estate, and more) and pick the closest match.
Not sure what to write? Copy this and make it your own:
Build a website for Fleur & Stem, a boutique florist. It is a neighborhood flower studio that sells bouquets, does weddings and events, and offers a weekly subscription. Make it editorial and elegant: a soft cream background, deep botanical green and blush accents, large photography, generous whitespace, and a refined serif for headings. Pages: Home, Shop, Weddings and Events, About, and Contact. Add a “Book a consultation” button in the header and a newsletter signup in the footer.
2. Plan it with your co-founder
Section titled “2. Plan it with your co-founder”Under the prompt you choose how to begin:
- Send it to go straight to building.
- Plan it to shape the idea first. For your first project, choose Plan it.
Pick Plan it and you meet Noor, your co-founder. Rather than guessing, Noor asks a few sharp questions about who the site is for and what stage your business is at, so the result fits your real goals. Each question arrives as a card: tap the option that fits, or type your own answer in “Ask Noor anything…”.
In a hurry? Click Fast track (“Skip questions and start building now”). Noor auto-advances the rest of the questionnaire, making sensible calls on your behalf, and goes straight to the plan. You can still refine it afterwards.
3. Approve the plan
Section titled “3. Approve the plan”Once Noor has what it needs, it turns the conversation into a short, plain-language plan, the handful of decisions that shape your site. Read it over. If it looks right, it builds automatically after a short countdown, or press Start building now. Want to adjust something first? Choose Refine plan and keep talking.
4. Watch it come together
Section titled “4. Watch it come together”Now Kai, your builder, gets to work while you watch. Kai builds in phases (pages, design, content, and a final quality check) and ticks each one off as it goes. Open “Show what I did” on any step to see the detail.
Sometimes Kai pauses to ask you a call only you can make, like whether to take card payments online now or start with a simple inquiry form. Answer in plain words and the build carries on.
5. Preview and make it yours
Section titled “5. Preview and make it yours”When the build finishes you land in your studio on the Preview tab. That is your website, live in front of you. Click through it like a visitor. To change anything, just ask in the chat (“make the hero image bigger”, “add a map to the contact page”) and watch it update.

Section titled “Tools in the preview”The toolbar above your preview helps you check the site as you go:
- Phone view. The device toggle switches the preview to a phone-sized frame (with common presets) so you can see how your site looks on mobile.
- Inspect. Click Inspect, then click any part of your site, to point your team straight at it. Now “change this” means exactly that piece.
- Console. Opens a panel with your site’s messages and errors. When something breaks, each error gets a Fix with Elentir button that hands it to your team to sort out.
- Screenshot. Grabs a picture of the current preview and attaches it to the chat, handy for “make it look more like this”.
- Plus the usual back, forward, refresh, home, and open in a new tab.
Some of these show up once your preview has finished loading. On a small screen they tuck into a More options menu.
That is your first project. It is not on the internet yet, and that is one button away.
Start another project
Section titled “Start another project”Already have a project and want to build something else? Click the project name at the top of the sidebar to open the project switcher, then choose + New project. That drops you back on “What should we build?” with a clean slate. The same menu lets you search your projects, or open the grid to see them all.
If it didn’t work
Section titled “If it didn’t work”- “Out of credits.” A build needs credits. See Credits explained to top up, then try again.
- You hit a project limit. Your plan caps how many projects (or running projects) you can have. Close one, or upgrade, see Plans & limits.
- “Failed to create workspace.” Something went wrong setting things up. You’ll be returned to the start, just enter your idea and try once more.
- The build paused with a question. That is normal. Kai needs a decision from you (like payments or content). Answer in the chat and it continues.
